Read hardware requirements
Device compatibility depends on more than the chipset name. Android version, CPU architecture, GPU features, driver behavior, available memory and the project’s current build can all matter.
Understand the match labels
Confirmed tested requires explicit evidence for that device. Likely compatible means the known requirements match. Unknown means important information is missing. Known incompatible means a documented requirement conflicts with your profile.
Graphics drivers
Mesa Turnip is associated with supported Qualcomm Adreno hardware. A recommendation in a game entry does not mean every Adreno GPU or Android build supports a particular driver. Use a project’s tested driver instructions; do not install a random driver package merely because its name matches.
Performance is a separate question
Meeting basic requirements does not promise a frame rate. Thermal limits, rendering resolution and project maturity affect sustained play. Start with the project’s recommended settings, change one option at a time and preserve a known-working configuration.
Create a device profile. The explorer keeps incomplete evidence visible rather than inventing a match.
